- Go to Wikipedia & hit random. The first article you get is the name of your band.
- Go to quotationspage.com & hit random quotes. The last 4 or 5 words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your album.
- Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. The 3rd picture no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
- Use photoshop or similar (picnik.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together.
Thanks to Hannah Batson. I tag anyone who wants to give it a go.

Thanks Phil, this is a lot of fun. I have created two albums already!
ReplyDeletegreat idea. Here's my effort.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great idea Phil (I had Plastic Mulch's "It is at all comprehensible" album).
ReplyDeleteMake sure you pick a photo you are allowed to alter though. That is it has a Creative Commons license or similar. Also give attribution where appropriate.
If the image has standard copyright slapped on it then you *could* get in trouble fr posting an altered version.
I know it's a pain but I'm just saying.
Thanks Crimperman, good point about attribution, I'll see if I can trace it back. Didn't see a copyright on the image I used but then it was only a low res icon rather than the full image.
ReplyDeleteIf you click the image in question you will be taken to the image page and the copyright licence will be on the bottom right.
